Creators of the FreeLoader plan to make a new version for the Wii.

Wii is region-free, said Nintendo. Then, shortly afterwards, Wii isn't region free, says Nintendo.

It turns out that the later comment is the truth. At this moment in time, you can only play PAL versions of Wii games on an PAL Unit.

However, creators of the hugely popular FreeLoader utility, Datel, plan to make a newer version of the FreeLoader, with the aim of allowing us to play games from other regions on our Wii!

"All we can say at present is watch this space - we're working on it, and if it's possible, you'll be the first to know", says Datel.
