News: Dave Mirra Rides To Wii

Your Wii-mote is Dave Mirra's handlebars, in the Wii's first BMX title.

The popular Dave Mirra series of BMX titles has reached Nintendo's newest console, with the game focusing on players honing their cycling skills across 12 different environments on 13 different bikes. Each environment include multiple race paths, and can be played in race or trick-oriented modes. As expected, gamers will be able to customise their own characters for use on the tracks.

Interestingly, the game will feature several control scheme options, utilizing both the unique Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controller, with one of the set-ups allowing players to tilt the remote from side to side to mimic your rider turning their handle-bars.

Currently already available for the PSP, the title will see a June release over the pond in America. Details on a release here in Europe are forthcoming.
