News: Dawn Paine Gets Promotion Within Nintendo UK

Nintendo UK's Dawn Paine has been promoted to assistant general manager and marketing director.

Dawn Paine has been with Nintendo UK for ten years, starting back in 2000 as the marketing controller where she oversaw the launch of the Nintendo GameCube. She has just been promoted to the company's assistant general manager and marketing director in recognition of her hard work and success.

Dawn Paine will continue to fill her responsibilities as marketing director, a position she was promoted to in 2005, just in time for the launch of the Nintendo DS. In her new role Ms. Paine will be responsible for working on projects across departments and ensuring customers are at the forefront of all decisions according to MCV.

This promotion has resulted in two others being promoted within Nintendo UK. Vanisha Kavia and Roger Langford have both become junior product managers within the company. We wish them all the best of luck in their new positions.
