Dead'n Furious (Touch the Dead)

News: Dead 'n' Furious Screenshots

We've got the first screenshots of upcoming DS zombie shooter Dead 'n' Furious, along with the news it will have co-operative wi-fi play!

French developers Dream On Studio have recently opened the website for their upcoming DS "on-rails" shooter Dead 'n' Furious. Complete with three pieces of artwork and four early screenshots of ingame action and the promise of a trailer "coming soon".

Also worth noting is that the game will contain a 2-player co-op mode by LAN and Wi-Fi. Detailed information on how the game will utilise the DS touch screen for maximum zombie blasting fun follows:

The main objective of Dead & Furious is to recreate the arcade style gameplay and atmosphere made famous by House of the Dead and Time Crisis. The gun controller is replaced by the stylus on the NDS Touch Screen. Shoot the zombies by aiming and tapping the screen. When the gun is out of ammo, simply drag'n drop ammo to your gun to reload. The player will be able to adjust the camera up/down/left/right to change the viewing angle. This will allow the player to look closely at finer details in the scene (i.e broken objects which will reveal bonus items and enemies attacking from the ceiling, etc). Players are guided around the 3D world, however the game features several paths for the player to choose.
