Unheard of for over a year, finally details have surfaced about Deep Labyrith for the DS!

Developed by Interactive Brains, Deep Labyrinth is a first-person 3D role-playing game which has been graphically overhauled for the DS release in Japan on March 23rd. A new soundtrack from the composers of Chrono Trigger and Xenosaga has been recorded, and new sections of the game have been written by people from the Final Fantasy XI and Chrono Cross teams!

The game was first released without all these elements on mobile phones, where players would cast spells by hitting combinations on their keypads - which has been easily translated to the DS' touch screen. While a Japanese release is less than a fortnight away, the title has yet to be confirmed in other territories.
