Find out what each of the three anime studios have planned for their Kid Icarus shorts.

While Kid Icarus Uprising may have been pushed back to a global 2012 release fans of the series can look forward to a series of shorts based on Kid Icarus. These shorts will be produced by three top Japanese animation studios and will be distributed through the eShop, although exact release details are currently unknown.

A NeoGAF contributor known as Masked Man has provided some information about what exactly each short will contain. As it turns out six episodes will be released in total, with each animation studio focusing on different elements of the Kid Icarus series.

Production I.G is set to produce the most episodes, three in total, with their 3D action shorts focusing on Pit. The episodes are set to mix human artillery, Madusa's lackeys and the God of Death Thanatos. Shaft will be making two episodes based on Palutena, Goddess of Light. Studio 4℃ meanwhile will create one episode based on Madusa's past and how it led to her comeback.
