Get ready to create your own stories with Disney Princess: Enchanting Storybooks.
The THQ uDraw peripheral is quickly building up a portfolio of drawing games and their newest title, Disney Princess: Enchanting Storybooks, is sure to please a young female audience. The game, due out later this year, will be available for both the Wii and DS and includes a number of artistic activities.
The game introduces players to a brand new character called Opal, a fairy tasked with colouring the magical kingdom who mistakenly takes all the colour away. Players progress through storybooks, based on popular Disney films such as Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, and they can express themselves using the sticker-book activity mode and musical tune-up activities that incorporate songs from the beloved films.
Players will also be able to unlock six tools such as Belle's Rose Petal Crayon and Rapunzel's Watercolor Brush. Numerous mini-games such as a 'tilt-a-maze' game and follow-the-rhythm will also be included. The title is due out in North American on November 1st and Europe shortly after. Speaking about Disney Princess: Enchanting Storybooks Martin Good, executive vice president of PlayTHQ, said the following:
"The Disney Princess characters are favorites of little girls everywhere, and our goal has been to make a game for them that takes advantage of the special capabilities of the uDraw GameTablet. Whether they venture under the sea or into the bayou, we're excited that the uDraw will allow generations of fans to experience these classic Disney princesses."
