Disney mean business with games, after creating a Nintendo-only division for their games, Disney now increase funding for their games in general...

Disney games sell well. Most may not be any good, but they sell because they carry the name. Disney look set to be increasing their foothold in the video game industry.

Disney have tripled their funding for video games, so we will see many more licensed products, and (hopefully) more original titles like Spectrobes. It's also interesting to note that this funding may also have something to do with Stan Lee (creator of many Marvel superheroes) joining up with Disney.

Keep an eye out for future Disney announcements soon. Who knows, some of Stan Lee's new creations may turn out to be a video game-only franchise.
