Some new details about Konami's Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights have emerged.

A few days ago we reported about Konami's new Professor Layton like 3DS title named Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights. Andriasang now have new details about the title.

The launch of the title's official website has provided us with new information. The game is set in 19th century Paris and Doctor Lautrec and his assistant Sophie search through the underground of the city for treasure. Doctor Jean Pierre Lautrec works as an archaeologist at the national museum and has a fondness for puzzle solving. While he doesn't have many friends he can rely on his assistant Sophie and pet monkey Kiki.

Sophie Coubertin, a Paris university student, gets a lot of attention from men but is only interested in mystery solving. Together they explore various areas, with a map on the bottom screen and the area on the top, as well as engage in battles. Not much is known about the battle mode but you can use different types of sprites such as human type, bird type and beast type.

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights will also make use of in-game voices and people's clothing and gestures will change depending on the situation. We have a few more images in the screenshot gallery so check them out.
