BBC's Doctor Who is arriving on the Wii and DS next month in two brand new adventures.

In recent months the BBC, along with Sumo Digital, have released two episodes of the free-to-download Doctor Who: The Adventure Games series for the PC. These have been very successful and now brand new titles will be released on the Wii and DS in the U.K. on October 29th.

Doctor Who: Evacuation Earth for the Nintendo DS will see The Doctor and his companion Amy Pond arrive at the Lake District to watch the humans leave the planet. They find themselves in the evacuation ship and must try and exit but The Doctor notices that Silurians have built a ship underneath. Furthering his problems the Daleks attack and players must take on the role of The Doctor as he tries to defeat the Daleks and save the humans.

Doctor Who: Return to Earth for the Nintendo Wii takes place after the DS game. Assisting in the SS Lucy Gray's return to Earth The Doctor and Amy Pond suddenly find themselves up against the Cybermen and a whole host of other problems.

Both titles are due to be released on October 29th and are being developed by Asylum Entertainment, who have handled numerous other licenses in the past.
