European gamers rejoice! Donkey Kong Country Returns now has an official release date.

Revealed this year at E3 and in development by none other than Retro Studios, Donkey Kong Country Returns is set to be released in Europe on 3rd December.

The first Donkey Kong Country title that doesn't involve Rare, Retro Studios has taken the reigns after finishing the Metroid Prime series. Development started back in April 2008 and was produced with the intention of giving a nostalgia feeling to the players, just like New Super Mario Bros did.

It was also revealed that last week that Rambi would return for the title.
