The Game Boy iteration of a classic hits the European eShop along with some other new content.
After Nintendo announced that the 3DS' eShop would be updated every Thursday, many of you may have been wondering this morning why nothing new was registered on the store. Well the good news is, the eShop has finally been updated, and European 3DS owners are treated to a classic.
The 1994 Game Boy iteration of Donkey Kong can now be downloaded for 3.60/4 and has a 21 second trailer of gameplay for you to view. The game is not just a simple port of the arcade or NES versions, and it has earned a legacy of being one of the few worthy follow-ups to the iconic original.
Also added is a "Coming Soon to Nintendo 3DS" shelf, which at the moment only contains The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, out in stores tomorrow. Three new titles have also been added to the "Now in Stores for Nintendo 3DS" shelf, Asphalt 3D, Sudoku: The Puzzle Game Collection and Sports Island 3D.
Each of those games info pages also include a trailer of the respective game for you to view. However interestingly none of the new trailers display in 3D as we've seen with the DOA and Ocarina of Time trailers released last week in the eShop.
