According to initial reports Donkey Konga 2: Hit Song Parade is selling well in Japan. The "sort of add-on, sort of sequel" to Donkey Konga has been highly anticipated and it seems that players are eager to fire up those drums again.

Initial reports suggest that since Thursday 7,000 units have been sold, an increase of 30.6 over Donkey Konga. However, no official data will be known until the Media Create charts come out soon.
