A game based on the Drive manga and anime series was in development by Treasure for some time.

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream reported that the game, an "on rails" shooter like the hugely successful Panzer Dragoon series by Sega, is almost ready, and will be published by Bandai in August 2003.

It's unlikely the game will ever come out of Japan, but, even if it doesn't seems to be based on a groundbreaking concept, it could well be a potential surprise, given that ingenuity and innovative game mechanics are the trademarks of almost all Treasure products.
