News: DS Continues To Break Records

Another week, another couple of records smashed by Nintendo...
Nintendo must literally be decorating HQ with cash right now. First up, is news that in the UK on the week ending December 6th, the DS Lite broke the nation's record of the number of hardware sales in a single week. Unsurprisingly, it was its own record that was broken, previously made about this time last year. If stock levels keep up, we could be seeing that record being beaten again very soon.
It's not just ol' Blighty either that is saturated with Nintendo love. As of today, the DS has become the best selling console in France ever, passing an unprecedented 6 million units sold. Not bad for a console that's not been out 4 years.
With the recently released Professor Layton enjoying some surprise success in the charts, things continue to look bright for Nintendo interests in Europe.
