NOA has announced that New Super Mario Brothers and Big Brain Academy will be delayed slightly.

In a press release today, Nintendo of America modified the shipping dates for a couple of its anticipated DS titles in the US. Anticipated blockbuster New Super Mario Bros. will now be available on May 15th instead of May 7th (making the platformer available shortly after E3 as opposed to shortly before). Big Brain Academy (known in Japan as the very popular Gentle Brain Training, the followup to the incredibly popular original Brain Training for Adults) has meanwhile dropped from May to a June 5th release.

For US gamers requiring a bit of comforting in light of these delays, remember: "Good things come to those who wait." (Hey, I tried.) And just be thankful you don't have to wait even longer like us Europeans! - Ed.
