The latest data from UK sales figures company Chart-Track shows that the Nintendo DS and DS Lite now hold more than 68 percent of the UK handheld market during 2007 to date, with a total of more than 3 million people in the UK now owning one of Nintendo's lovely dual-screened portables.

Nintendo has previously claimed the DS as the "best-selling platform" of 2006 - and with a very promising start to 2007 already under its belt, it remains to be seen how much more the Lite can conquer, with titles such as the new Pokémon and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass still to come.
