News: DS Lite Colours Revealed

Nintendo Japan has updated their website with the new models in their multi-coloured goodness. Pics after the jump...

DS Lite is only a few weeks away in Japan. Nintendo Japan today revealed the handheld's three launch colours. Besides the already revealed Crystal White (oh, Nintendo and its name choices), Ice Blue and Enamel Navy are being prepped for likely rabid consumption by DS-starved Japanese gamers (and 'non-gamers' I suppose). The DS Lite will come packed with a custom wall charger, and matching wrist strap and plastic GBA port cover. The included stylus will measure 1 cm longer, a little thicker, and come in a matching color. Meanwhile, Touch-DS has been updated with this rather long-loading little 3D flash teaser that can be viewed right here.

OK, so now that you are good and worked up and are wondering when we too can get our hands on one of these... well, the official dates have yet to be determined (Reggie, in the midst of all his DS thunderbolt announcements, could not even pin the date at the DICE conference.) There is always importing... or patience. Stay tuned for release dates.
