News: DS Lite Noble Pink Arrives

A positively pretty new DS Lite colour is now available in Japan: Hellooo, Noble Pink.

Japan has just been introduced to its fourth official DS Lite colour option: Noble Pink is now available to go alongside Crystal White, Ice Blue and Enamel Navy. How popular did the new DS Lite prove to be on its first day of availability? You be the judge. The news sites for Dengeki and Famitsu have updated with articles about this latest launch, complete with accompanying photographs (hint: expect to see many pictures of people arranged in sequence).

Keep in mind, Europe's own Jet Black DS Lite will be available in Japan early September. Any wagers on the sales totals for that week's charts? (hint two: start with a big number). In all seriousness, the scope of this dual-screened portable remains jaw-dropping. From Kotaku correspondent Brian:

They come in all shapes and sizes, Noble Pink DS Lite customers. College students playing hooky, men in business suits doing likewise, housewives, gray hairs, but oddly no children. I count off 43 people, around 15 of which are women, 20 are men and the rest are senior citizens.

You've got to wonder how Europe would react if Noble Pink were available...Nintendogs popularity perhaps offers a strong hint (the title's sales in Europe have outstripped other territories). How about it NOE?
