Nintendo's next handheld gets a price and date for North America!

After releasing in Japan late last year, Nintendo have finally dated and priced the third iteration of the Nintendo DS. DSi will launch Stateside on April 5th for the price of $169.99. The console will be available in blue and black.

DSi improves on DS Lite by slimlining the design, featuring 2 seperate cameras, 256 megabytes of in-built memory, an SD card slot and the ability to play and alter music files. The machine also has a more robust online-interface, allowing the user to download DSiWare applications straight from Nintendo.
