Nintendo narrows down its international launch window for the DSi. Details inside...

Company president Satoru Iwata has stated that the DSi, launching today in Japan, will likely see release in the US and Europe in the summer of next year. It's not as soon as some had hoped, but with the credit crisis as it is, it'll help us save up the coppers. Said Iwata:

"Specific plans will be unveiled by our local subsidiaries, but an autumn or year-end launch would probably be too late."
