No Wii with DVD coming soon for your TV. Guess as to why...

That's right, a lack of production abilities has delayed Nintendo of Japan's production of a Wii with DVD playback capabilities, or so says NoJ's website in a new Q&A. The updated system was to launch for this Christmas, but has now been delayed until at least next year.

With the standard Wii still in short supply as it is, it's not surprising. More as we get it.
