News: E-Reader Canned

After months and months of waiting for the e-Reader Nintendo of Europe announced it would be launched. Now it wont be.

In May Nintendo of Europe finally gave the e-Reader, a device that lets you scan games onto the GBA, was coming to Europe after months of waiting. It was scheduled for October, but now its been taken off the release list.

"We can confirm there are no current plans to release e-Reader in Europe." A Nintendo spokesman said on the issue today. No reasons why were given.

Games can be stored on cards and can be swiped and played on the GBA. Games already released include Super Mario Bros. and Excitebike. It was also going to be utilized in the upcoming Super Mario Advance 4.

The e-Reader will be released in Australia in October.
