News: EA 'A Pig Of A Company'?

Looks like it's cool to hate EA again, as the company falls victim to a scathing attack from Germany.
Last week saw the bizarrely named Computer Game and Violence conference take place in Munich. What has come to be a normality from these types of affairs, video games have once again found themselves to be on the sharper end of some criticisms.
Regina Pfeiffer of the Lower Saxony's Criminological Research Institute (KFN) made her feelings about EA perfectly clear when she is alledged to have burst out that they are "a pig of a company", after she learned she could not sue over an unnamed game. Intruigingly, Pfeiffer's brother and collegue was also responsible for having Army of Two refused classification in the country.
What is quite out of the ordinary about this particular incident, is that EA actually put out a firm but formal response to the remarks; despite their actual absence from the conference:
"Should Mrs Regina Pfeiffer have actually lost her composure to the point of describing Electronic Arts as being a 'a pig of a company', then I can only recommend that she apologises in full at least, [she should] if she wishes to be taken seriously again in the future."
What's more is that the German PR Chief of EA later made a more personal statement regarding the situation:
"The organisers had no interest in holding discussions with the people who manufacture the games that were being criticised there. Initially, I found this very regrettable, because I had told the conference that I would be willing to hold a question and answer session. But now that I see how low the level of discussion obviously was, I'm glad that I didn't waste my time."
It remains to be seen whether this war of words will be rectified in the near future.
