Electronic Arts have announced a sequel to their big selling title Need for Speed: Underground due in Autumn.

Electronic Arts released Need for Speed: Underground before Christmas, mixing racing with underground music, and proved to be a big seller, with many places running out of it.

Now they have announced that they will be releasing a sequel, titled Need for Speed: Underground 2. The new game will have a free-roaming mode around a city.

While roaming around the streets you will meet other people who will give you tips about racing or challenge you to one.

EA are also hopeful that they will include new gameplay modes, customization options and over 30 licensed cars. The game will have "a staggering 70 billion possible car combinations for total automotive self-expression.".
