News: EA Embracing 3D Gaming

EA are embracing 3D gaming and see it as important to their future.

While 3D films are becoming an increasing staple of cinema and both Nintendo and Sony try and introduce 3D gaming there is still some scepticism about 3D technology. However, EA do not feel this way and in fact are fully embracing 3D technology.

EA, who seem to make as many games as they do studios, are apparently fully on board with the technology and are already future-proofing their upcoming titles to ensure they will work on 3D-compatible televisions.

The Nintendo 3DS is also of great interest to them. Speaking during an investor's call earlier today Nintendo World Report quote EA saying "[3D will be] a little more interesting next year, certainly very interesting on the 3DS which has 3D built into it."

So far the company have only announced My Garden, a gardening simulator, for the handheld but expect many more games from them in the future.
