Just in time for the holidays, EA has some warm words for Nintendo and its Revolution.

At the 33rd Annual UBS Global Media Conference in New York, NOA Vice President of Sales and Marketing Reggie Fils-Aime noted in a speech that third parties were very excited with the possibilities opened up by the Revolution controller. Specifically, Reggie had a quote from uber-third party (watch your cell phones) EA in which the makers of Madden extoll some of the Big N's virtues in its latest endeavour:

It's a brilliant controller, and as usual we can credit Nintendo with being innovative and neat and fresh and fun. They continue to pioneer in our industry�they make some of the best games in the industry�and we look forward to partnering with them."

You are probaly thinking "rats, no official game announcements" but rest assured those are soon to come. Its good to see that, amidst rampant worry among fans that third parties will be turned off to the Revolution and its unorthodox controller, support from the largest of them all is clear. Stay tuned.
