Electronic Arts are offering families the chance to help design the game as they play it with their upcoming title Create.
The Play Label, part of Electronic Arts, have today announced that they will be releasing Create for the Nintendo Wii and several other consoles. The title is aimed at families and gives them a chance to get creative and influence the game that they play, much like the popular PlayStation 3 title LittleBigPlanet.
As players progress through the game and solve level-based challenges more rewards and customisations will be unlocked. Players will be able to design environments using brushes and tools, which includes textures, props and animations to ensure their ideas become reality.
“Create uses families’ imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging,” said Harvey Elliott, VP and General Manager at EA Bright Light. “We wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination.”
Create is due to be released in November in America and while no date for Europe has been set it is probable it will also be released before Christmas. Stay tuned for updates as we get them.
