American football is getting a new game from EA, and this time it's to cover the Arena style matches of the AFL league.

EA SPORTS have announced plans to bring Arena Football to the Gamecube (as well as the PS2, Xbox and PC) in February 2006. The game is set to feature everything that fans of the sport love - high scores, hits into the field walls and the focus on speed and innovation in smaller fields than traditional American football.

EA have released a trailer for the game (although no in-game graphics are seen, it's all pre-rendered graphics). Your guess is as good as ours whether this very American title will make it to Europe, but take a peek at how it might look here.
