Everyone's favourite invertebrate is to making a return!

Reports are wriggling their way over the web that a certain invertebrate is to grace the Wii. Entitled Earthworm Jim 4, the new game currently has not had any platforms confirmed for the title, though many are expecting it to hit Nintendo's motion-sensing console due to the series' appearances on the SNES, N64, Game Boy and GBA.

Jim's creator Douglas TenNapel is on board as a consultant, and there are apparently plans to make an Earthworm Jim movie and animated television show.

All we know about the game at the moment is that it is "coming soon".
