News: EA's Potter Plans

Electronic Arts is set to launch another Harry Potter game to keep fans occupied until the next film.

Computer and Video Games have revealed Electronic Art's plans to bring out Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for the PS2, Xbox and GameCube.

The title, which was previously released on PC, PSOne, GBA and GBC, is set to launch in Europe on September 26th, but the date is not definite at the moment. The game is a third-person action-adventure title and based on the film and the book (which go under the name of Sorcerer's Stone in the US).

There are no details on the games at present but it seems that UK-based Warthog may be developing them and not EA themselves. Warthog have two products listed in upcoming games as "Unannounced product (film Licence) (EA / WB)". The other one is based on the upcoming Loony Tunes film.

Neither EA or Warthog have commented on the matter at present.
