Nintendo of Europe announce a silver DS Lite, to be released soon...

Nintendo of Europe has announced that Europe will be getting a silver DS Lite on the 12th October 2007.

There are currently over 14 million DS Lites sold in Europe so far - a number very similar to DS Lite sales in the US. Nintendo of Europe has also released software sales figures for some of the DS Lite's software.

Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? has sold 3.3 million copies in Europe, while it's sequel (More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain?) has reached 915,000 in 11 weeks. In the 7 weeks since Pokémon Diamond/Pearl launched, they have sold a combined total of 1.6 million copies.
