With Mario Power Tennis soon to be landing in your side of the court, Nintendo launch the European website for this second New Play Control title.

If you've found yourself yearning for a more fleshed-out tennis title since Nintendo's simplistically effective effort in Wii Sports just over two years ago, you may find solace in the New Play Control! remake of Camelot's Mario Power Tennis.

Being the second title to receive the Wiimake treatment after the excellent Pikmin re-jig last month, Mario Power Tennis predictably sees the GameCube's button presses replaced with swings of the Wii Remote. In addition to expanding on the successful Wii Sports formula, Mario and the rest of his comrades from the Mushroom Kingdom add some much-needed personality and character to the sport.

Nintendo of Europe have today launched the official website for New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis, which features screenshots, videos, character bios, control schemes and mode details - basically, everything you need to know about Mario's gang's return to the court.

New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis is out this Friday in Europe.
