Link's next adventure to hit European shores over a month before Christmas
Nintendo has today announced that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is to be released in Europe on 18 November.
For those who've been living under a rock, Skyward Sword is the latest game in the Zelda franchise, and takes place before Ocarina of Time. In it, Link must save Zelda by travelling from their home of Skyloft to the world beneath. Of course, dungeons and puzzles will no doubt be abound, as Link traverses through the game to save the woman who is no longer a princess.
Skyward Sword looks to be the final major event in the Zelda 25th Anniversary celebrations, after the release of Ocarina of Time 3D earlier in the year, and the upcoming Zelda concert on 25 October. Nintendo have suggested that more events are to be announced soon. However, what form these will take is still a mystery.
Is the release date earlier than expected? And will you be picking up Skyward Sword on launch? As always, let us know below!
