Find out what you'll be downloading once the WiiWare service launches in Europe this May 20th...

Nintendo has today confirmed the following titles to be available in the launch period of WiiWare. This does not mean all of them will be available from the word go on May 20th, though any that don't see release on that date will be following very soon after.

• Dr. Mario & Germ Buster (Nintendo) - 1000 Wii Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10 approx)
• Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Square Enix) - 1500 Wii Points (GBP 10.50 / EUR 15)
• LostWinds (Frontier) - 1000 Wii Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10 approx)
• Pirates: The Key of Dreams (Oxygen)
• Pop (Nnooo) - 700 Wii Points (GBP 5 / EUR 7 approx)
• Star Soldier R (Hudson) - 800 Wii Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10 approx)
• Toki Tori (Two Tribes)
• TV Show King (Gameloft) - 1000 Wii Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10 approx)

These eight launch period titles lack US launch titles Defend Your Castle and V.I.P Casino: Blackjack, though XGen Studios have already confirmed to us here at N-Europe that Defend Your Castle will be seeing release in the not too distant future.

Indeed, these eight include four games not yet released in the US: Dr. Mario & Germ Buster, the WiiWare Pirates: The Key of Dreams from Brit developer Oxygen Interactive, plus Star Soldier R from Hudson and Toki Tori from Two Tribes.
