F1 fans with a Nintendo Wii will be disappointed to hear that F1 2011 won't be released on the console.

Codemasters had already confirmed that F1 2011 will be released on the 3DS, and take advantage of the system's capabilities. But it's now sadly been confirmed that the game will not be available on the Nintendo Wii. F1 2009, which got revamped as F1 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360, was the last F1 title released for the Wii.

While a release date for the 3DS version of F1 2011 has not yet been announced it is set to feature all the teams, drivers and circuits as well as extensive single and mulitplayer modes. Stay tuned for more news as it develops.
