News: Factor 5 Were Making Rogue Squadron Wii

Factor 5's involvement developing a Rogue Squadron game for Wii is confirmed, as former employees sue the studio about it...

After the recent sad closure of developers Factor 5, it appears ex-employees have made public the development of a new title in the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series due to their current lawsuit against their ex-employers.

Staff made redundant by the developer's demise are now taking legal action, claiming that Factor 5 fraudulently transferred game material to another developer prior to claiming bankcrupcy and refusing to pay workers.

What developer bought the material for Wii Rogue Squadron is unknown, but this certainly confirms its existence. Could gamers still see the title released, since all progress made on the game has been now been transferred? Or is this the start of lengthy legal proceedings which will see the game killed for good?

Factor 5 are being sued for unpaid wages amounting to over $900,000. We'll keep you updated.
