Could this be the secret Wii hard drive Nintendo are working on?!! In a word: no. One fake picture of a Wii hard drive inside.

Honestly, some people would believe anything. The internet was astir today with the supposed 'leak' of the hard drive Nintendo have kinda sorta not confirmed they are actually working on.

We've seen some nice fakes in our time, but this is not one of them. There are several things wrong with the image below. Number one, it is ugly as hell. Number two, it is quite obviously some sort of air conditioning/dehumidifying unit. Number three, it's supposed dimensions would make it far larger than the Wii itself.

Come on guys, we know the news is slow during this summer drought post-E3 lull, but let's not get carried away with ourselves, hmm?
