A huge player from the Mario universe is set to return in the Italian plumber's intergalactic adventure.

Speculation has been rife about which established characters from the Mario universe will return in the upcoming Galaxy. Luigi, who has been making regular appearances in the series since Mario Bros. in 1983, has been unconfirmed... until now. Luigi has been sighted in one of the latest game videos. He appears imprisoned in a level that appears to be a nod to Luigi's Mansion, surrounded by Boos and which most likely sees the introduction of Mario's Boo costume.
