News: Famitsu Japanese Sales 2003

Famitsu have released their top selling game charts of 2003 for Japan. Find out who is number one inside!

The PlayStation 2 sold the most units this year, the same as most years since it has been out. Otherwise GameCube came in forth, just under the Game Boy Advance.

1. PlayStation 2- 2,994,000
2. Gameboy Advance SP- 2,433,000
3. Gameboy Advance- 1,180,000
4. Gamecube- 1,040,000
5. Xbox- 97,000
6. PSone- 61,000
7. Wonderswan- 47,000

Final Fantasy X-2 sold the most this year, but not surprising considering the Japanese's love for the series. Nintendo managed to get Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire in at number two, and Mario Kart Double Dash!! and Made in Wario in at numbers eight and nine.
