Two games were reviewed for the GameCube console by Famitsu; Dokapon DX and NARUTO. The first scored a mediocre 7,7,7,7, with a total of 28 out of a possible 40. The other title, NARUTO, is a fighting game that received a Famitsu Silver Award because of its high score: 8,8,8,7. Thus, giving it a total of 31 points out of 40 along with the praise of the reviewers for its basic controls and interesting "manga" aspect.

Some statistics were also given regarding the sales of the new Nintendo hardware during the March 17th to March 23rd. The Game Boy Advance SP sold approximately 98,000 units while 100,000 Game Boy Players were sold, pretty impressive if you consider the numbers are for one week of sales.
