Is a revision of the DS in the works, just like the GBA was updated with the SP? The latest rumblings say so...

Adding to comments already made by Reggie Fils-Aime that Nintendo has been looking into re-designing the DS ever since it's launch, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has apparently said a current piece of gaming hardware is to get a revision, and soon.

The magazine lists a Japanese release date of Spring 2006 - which is the same time of year as the GBA SP launched, three years ago. Could we see another suprise announcement of a redesign? The signs are pointing to a 'yes'...
