Someone with way too much time on their hands has fed a Mega Mushroom to their Nintendo DS.

Here at N-Europe we've seen some console mods in our time, including a golden DS emblazoned with the Triforce, a blue glowing Nunchuk and a Wii bearing a Hylian shield and a Master Sword on its side, but this one has to top all the others. We present to you: GoDSilla.

In the words of the creator: "It's a Nintendo DS hooked up to 2 Tablet PC screens, using an FPGA in between to do some translation magic. Pen input from the Tablet PC screens is sent back to the DS. It can also dump screenshots to a PC via serial port."

Magic.

The only downside is that the inventor has estimated that to construct your very own 'Jumbotron DS', you will need around $600 in components. Unlucky for anyone who isn't named Scrooge McDuck. It still rocks though.
