Is the fourth in the legendary RPG series next up for a 3D version?

Despite a GBA version of Final Fantasy IV being released only last year, it appears that the title is now in development by the the same team who have recently completed work on the 3D total re-make of Final Fantasy III.

Japanese magazine Shonen Jump has printed screenshots of the game, which apparently will include new areas, unique to this 3D release. Our colleagues over at Jeux-France have a scan of the magazine's screenshots here.
