Opera's final version of their Wii web browser available to download from April with many improved features. Details inside...

The trial version of Opera's browser for the Wii has enabled users to check out their favourite websites for several months now, though features-wise, it is somewhat lacking. But as we previously reported, this is to change next month, when the final version of the browser will be made available to download.

Improved features include better zooming and scrolling, an improved zoomed font, shortened startup times, quicker access to "favorites", an ability to hide the toolbar, buttons that instantly type commonly used words, such as "www" or ".com" and other features yet to be announced.

The full browser will be free to download from its release next month in April until some point in June, from which point Nintendo will begin charging 500 Wii Points. So when its released, grab it quick! And rest assured, we'll let you know its release date as soon as Opera announces it...
