News: Find Love in Pandora's Tower

Pandora's Tower is set to feature love simulation elements according to new information.

Nintendo's Pandora's Tower is due for release next week in Japan and an eleventh hour update on the title's official website reveals some unexpected information. The action adventure title will also feature a love simulation element to it, which affects the relationship between Ende and Ceres.

In the title you must help the cursed Ceres and prevent her from transforming into a beast. This can be achieved in a number of ways, mostly by collecting beast flesh to lift the curse, and it would appear that keeping her happy helps. On the left of the screen there is a bar that represents the relationship between Ende and Ceres and this helps you identify when you need to show some extra affection to her.

The official website shows several screenshots that highlight this gameplay element. According to Andriasang you can give a number of gifts to Ceres. Thankfully it seems as if she is not particularly fussy as she is happy with both a rainbow coloured bracelet and a carrot.

While fans may not have anticipated this element in Pandora's Tower the love simulation genre is popular in Japan and has been featured to some degree in a lot of other titles, such as evolving through happiness in Pokémon.
