Joining Animal Crossing and Wii Speak, Intelligent Systems' acclaimed strategy remake, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, is out in Europe this December.

December looks set to be a good month for European Nintendo fans, as Nintendo of Europe have confirmed that Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the DS will be hitting store shelves on December 5th.

Shadow Dragon is a remake of the very first Fire Emblem game, originally released on the Famicom and never released outside of Japan. Six difficulty levels, two new chapters and online battles with voice chat through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection are just a handful of new features crammed into the title by Intelligent Systems.

Also of note is the fact that America won't even be seeing Shadow Dragon this year, with Reggie lumping the land of the free with a rather vague 'first half of 2009' release date.
