Latest entry on 3DS outsells the rest of the top-20 combined...
The latest Japanese charts are out, and it was the week for Fire Emblem to burn brightly as the latest entry on 3DS put in a barnstorming debut week.
Fire Emblem: Awakening enjoyed a renewed popularity for the franchise to earn the highest opening week a game in the series since 1994. It also managed the not-insignificant feat of outselling the rest of the top-20 combined.
Agatsuma's over-the-top 3DS RPG Code of Princess managed a respectable total to plant its stake at the number 2 spot, but this was very much Fire Emblem's week.
