Just a heads-up for all European Animal Crossing: Wild World gamers - Nintendo will be releasing their next downloadable item soon!

Those kind folks at Nintendo are celebrating the fact its the summer holidays (its alright for some - at the grand and expensive offices of Revo-Europe, the work never stops). Ninty's next special item up for grabs is the Fire Flower - of which Mario fans will be more than familiar - and can be downloaded by heading online between July 17th and the 23rd.

This will only work if your have a European copy of the game, though you don't need to connect to anyone to recieve the item - merely opening your town's gate is enough. For further help on how to recieve, Nintendo have a helpful checklist here.
