Fresh from the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine comes brand new details on the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Olympics sequel, set to tie in to the Winter Olypmics in Vancouver next year.

Once again both Wii and DS versions will feature console specific mini-games, with DS events including bobsleighing and snowboarding via the touch-screen and d-pad, with a virtual snowboard on the touch screen. Meanwhile, the Wii will feature Balance Board support for skiing and snowboarding events.

Apparently Sega of Japan are developing the game with more realistic environments than its predecessor to closer match the game's real-life settings in Vancouver. Despite this, the Mario and Sonic style will remain.
